DECIEM’s The Ordinary “B” Oil First Impressions

The Ordinary is a very interesting company, and every time they announce a new product I can’t help but be intrigued. This time around, The Ordinary has launched a new hydrating oil which they have named “B” Oil. This product is alcohol-free, gluten-free, vegan, cruelty-free, water-free, and silicone-free, leaving plenty of room for some amazing ingredients!

The main draw of this product, for me, was the blend of oils. “B” Oil contains eight different oils: marula, argan, baobab, pataua, brazil nut, inca inchi, rosehip, and borage. My personal favourites amongst these ingredients are the argan and the rosehip, as I’ve found that these suit my skin really well. This blend of oils promises to promote healthy skin defence and improve the radiance of the skin. I received my “B” Oil about three days ago now, and whilst this isn’t a long time to try out a product, I feel happy to share my first thoughts with you. If you’ve been struggling to incorporate an oil into your skincare regime, then this product might be great for you, due to the incredible blend of oils that are present!

The texture of the oil is nice and light-weight, nothing too heavy for the skin. However, it does make you feel very hydrated and revitalised, so don’t worry about this product not being concentrated enough. After using this product both morning and night for over two weeks now, I’ve noticed that my skin has been brighter, plumper, and more vibrant after having used this product. I would recommend this product to anybody who is struggling with tired looking skin, or skin that really needs a drink! Thanks to some of the amazing ingredients in this product, like the bisabolol and tomato extract, this oil is also anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants, making it a key player in all skincare regimes.

You can find The Ordinary’s “B” Oil on their website for the affordable price of £8.70 for 30ml. As this was just a quick first impression, I’ll be returning to it in a month or so to write a more detailed review, showing you what worked and what didn’t, and whether or not I’ll be repurchasing!
